Guest 36dodgeguy
I can't seem to remove the top of my oil filter to replace the filter. I was wondering if in 1936 the oil filter was permanent? I have tried removing it and also a mechanic but was not able to. Don't want to snap it off for more problems.
atlbluz
That looks very similar to my 38 plymouth filter. I just tapped mine with a body hammer to release the seal. Of course remove the top bolt first. Nice job on the engine, I hope to get mine looking that good again.

Guest 36dodgeguy
I had a 48 Plymouth and never removed the horn button or my '36 Dodge as they worked perfect! Sorry but as they say "Don't try fixing something that isn't broken".

jpage
To remove your horn button just push down on it while twisting it to the left, should pop right out.
