Erndog Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 (edited) This was pulled out of the bottom of a river in Nevada. About all you have to go on is shock type/location, axle, and unusual gas tank shield. The "tube" in the first photo points toward the front of the vehicle. F&J Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 pic 2 shows a cable brake on the RR?The wire wheel info may narrow it down; 18",19" etc, and hub cap hole size, as well as lug amounts, and bolt pattern diameter.
Erndog Posted March 9, 2013 Author Posted March 9, 2013 No, I think that is just an unrelated cable. Picture 4 shows some kind of bellcrank, possible for mechanical brake linkage, though. Unfortunately, this is at a friend's house and I am 2500 miles away and won't be back for a long time.
CarlLaFong Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 There's a little creek in Nevada that you may have heard of. It's called the Colorado River. There's also the Truckee, Walker, Humbolt, Carson and a few others
Bleach Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 I thought the Colorado just separated Nevada from Arizona. Some of those others are just run off from Lake Tahoe.
Dave Mellor NJ Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 I'm pretty sure that's a Chevy or small GM rear in picture #2. That and the wire wheel would be early 30's
mribbich@wi.rr.com Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Is there a number on the end cap of the shock???????? Marv.
Erndog Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 I would love to tell you, but these pictures are all I have now.
