I am going to sell my 1970 Buick Riviera and 1970 Buick Skylark 2 door sedan (post) I don't have a lot of pictures of either car at this time but as soon as weather permits I will take more. I am asking $10,000 for each car. I would get in either car and drive anywhere. For complete information contact me with pm here. Both cars are in eastern South Dakota and I might be able to deliver to you depending on where you live.

Not life threatening at this time but will need to be done this year. Insurance is exprensive and a crapshoot on what they will pay for.

Cool cars Sid, wish I could add one of those to our collection right now. We hope the surgery is uneventful, and see you in South Bend.

I have listed the Skylark on Ebay. Its not the best ad I have ever put on but wanted to stick my toe in the water and see if there was any interest. I should get an ad in the Bugle but would like to get a picture ad and not sure I have any that are good enough. Here is the link to my Skylark. Buick : Skylark Base in Buick | eBay Motors

I have listed both cars on ebay with a lot more pictures. The Riviera is under listing number 290925841486 and the Skylark is at 290925817736. Got a lot of lookers no bidders so far. Maybe I'll have to try one of the other cars. It took us a month to decide on these 2.

Very nice cars. Makes me wish I had a few thousand more dollars bills lying around.

Hope the health stuff looks up soon.

Well I will consider any reasonable offers at this time. Espescially on the Skylark. I think I am keeping the Riviera there doesn't seem to be much interest in it on ebay and I can't give it away. Didn't even get a bid at $5000 starting price.

Sid,

How long/miles ago was the engine rebuilt? Has the transmission been rebuilt and if so how long/miles ago? Do all gauges and instruments work? Are the gears in the rear end stock? When was the exterior re-painted and is it the original color? Looks like the chrome was re-done--correct?

Regards

The engine was rebuilt when I bought the car and has about 20,000 miles on the rebuild. The transmission was rebuilt about 2500 miles back. The rear bumper was rechromed but not the front. It is the original color both inside and out I do have the Build sheet as well as the protecto plate and some other original paperwork. The tach was put in by the previous owner and has never worked and the previous owner added gauges to replace the temp and oil pressure lights and they do work. Yes the gears in the rear end are stock and they are 2.73 ratio.
