West Peterson
1940 Lincoln-Zephyr four-door sedan, Model 73, with original 292cid/120bhp V-12 engine & Columbia 2-speed rear axle. This Zephyr was owned by the same family in Pasadena, Calif. for over 50 years, then sold to a Michigan collector who spent $54,000 (in the mid 1990s!) at Brian Joseph's shop in Troy, Michigan for upgrades including new paint, re-chroming, adding modern air-conditioning and power brakes and even a rear window brake light. The original upholstery is too good to change and the mileage is still under 26,000 miles! We bought this car in May 1998 and drove it to Atlanta where it has resided since. $37,500. Guest Jim Zephyr
Amazing paint color and finish, what color is it? I notice the accessory rear stone deflector appears to be attached behind bumper - any chance of a better picture of this from the top view? Thank you Edited February 26, 2013 by Jim Zephyr (see edit history)
West Peterson
I'm not sure of the name of the color... Zephyr Blue metallic, I think.I don't have a photo of the rear bumper splash pan. Not sure how fast i can get one. It is a correct piece, though. Guest Bob Call
WestBeautiful Lincoln but more than I can afford. I was intrigued by it having A/C. It looks like a Sanden compressor in the photo. I thought the car has been converted to 12 volt, but, in the background of the compressor photo is a 6 volt battery. Tell us West, what is the electrical set up on this sweet ride? Thanks,Bob

peecher
West, is that a floor shift or am I seeing things?
West Peterson
Oh. I forgot to mention. The floor shifter was added, too. The previous owner had his wants. All of which should be reversible, and all nice for touring purposes.
