1963 riviera electric choke install

Please help!

Does anybdy know if the EC-5052 on this link Carter 4 AFB Parts Page will work on my Carter AFB which currently has the hot air choke, or do I need the EDL-1478. I have read the great tech tip on the Rivowners site but would like some help if anyone knows.

The EDL (Edlebrock) part is for adding an automatic choke to a carb that came with only a manual choke. All you need is the 5202. You'll have the housing on your carb, the retaining clips and screws, etc from your OE carb. All you need to do is provide wire and terminal ends.

Thanks Ed. I think I'll try the oil pressure sensor replacement that also has a switch in it. I guess that only lets it turn on when pressure is up.
