1932 57s windshield frame

Hey I'm new here.

I have a 32 Buick model 57s that I'm working on. I have a windshield frame (at least part of one), but I'm not sure exactly how it's supposed to go in place. I can have the local glass shop make the glass, but I'm not sure what the rest of the frame is supposed to look like or how it is supposed to mount and be water tight.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Dan

Dan,

I am a bit puzzled. I guess you mean the top piece, as it is pinched in a frame which then can be raised (and lowerA) for ventilation by the handle near the windshiled wiper motor. I would take some photos but mine is covered by the upholustry now. Perhaps we can find an old photo for you. But, in thye meantime, suppose you post what you now have available. The bottom of the glass and the sides just fit in a rubber chanel which allows opening and closing. Sorry I did not see this sooner. It probably would have been better if you osted on the Pre-War section where most of us early 30s owners visit more frequently. I wil check there as well as you may have posted and I would expect we can get you what you seek. I take it the rest of the car is OK, unless you have other questions.

Thanks John

I'll post in the other section with some pics. I have plenty of other issues, but this is the one I can't seem to get any info on.
