Guest 48buickkid
I just want to know if any of you guys have bought or used the 1929-52 reprint interchange guide from classicbuicks.com? Says it covers 1929-52 Chevrolet,Buick,Pontiac, and Oldsmobile. Pros? Cons? How in depth does it get? Just curious before I spring the $20 for it. Mark Shaw
I have the Chevrolet Interchange Parts book for Buick Olds Pontiac 1929-1952. Your answer depends on what car you have. Some models and years have very few interchangable parts. Others are virtually the same car. The major advantage for me is that Chevs of the 40's carries lots of new interchangable part and they are located very close to me.

Mark Shaw
Obvious shared components such as ignition parts.. generator brushes, condenser, cables, etc are listed. Tail light lens gaskets, electrical bulbs,Headlight seals, horn butto contacts, lots of carb parts, transmission shafts, brake cylinder parts, etc. etc.... These were just what was listed up to page 37 of 137 pages...I suggest you spend the $20...
Guest 48buickkid
I think I will just wanted to make sure it was legit and not just general guide. Thanks for the info! Thats also a very nice stable of Buicks you have there. 1938 is my favorite year for prewar production.
