MarkV Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 So, where can I get a wiring harness for both the engine and the dash for my '48? (a friend of mine may have one but I am checking just in case) I would like to plug it all into a modern fuse box.
ezdusit Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Wes,I have had excellent products and services from Y n' Z's Yesterdays Parts. They're in Redlands, CA. Great people to deal with.YnZs Yesterdays Parts | Classic, Antique and Custom Auto Wiring Harness | (909)798-1498Bob Mead
C. Douglas Johnson Jr. Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Narragansett reproductions, 401 364 3839 The wiring harnesses are spot on. In R.I so probably under 3 feet of snow now.
Ray500 Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 I got the wiring harnesses for my '41 Zephyr from Rhode Island Wiring. Everything fit well and great service. They have all the old wiring charts with proper color codes to match the wiring diagrams. Check them out!
abelincoln Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 I got a fuse box from a boat supply place, has a nice cover and fits up on the inside of the driver's cowl area. Then I found an ignition switch from a 60's Econoline that could be matched to the Lincoln door key. However, reconnecting the accessories means adding to the stock harness, and unless you are careful leads to a mess of wires.Abe
