Post # 34 has what appears to be a different top???? Almost like a removable hard top.

P.S. The grill emblem is one of the best ever, I have several, and always looking for more.

I was noticing the same thing

'51 Roadmaster in the front of Hank Williams funeral procession. A sad day in music history. Here's a link to the youtube video where I found it. It's a Hank Williams documentary. Well worth the time if you're a fan of the Ramblin' Man. Make sure you watch all 5 parts.

Man, I can't help but think that when those older Buicks took hits like that people really got hurt...and really killed without seat belts etc.. That old metal didn't bend up easily and those dashboards were steel, not plastic that absorbs. I'm thankful, in a way, for modern engineering.

There were a lot fewer automobiles on the roads years back, certainly a lot fewer trucks, NOT SAYING ANYTHING BAD ABOUT TRUCKS, just stating a fact. Couple this with slower speeds, and NO TEXTING, hehehe, well, many of us did survive.

Thank the many safe drivers, huh... I think if we check, there are fewer wrecks with injuries per million miles driven today then in the 50's for example, I THINK....

Just goes to prove, even though people call Buick's boats and yachts, they really don't float lol - poor 53 Special

LOOK!! Somebody dropped a house on that Buick!! Lol. Tried to get my Wife to let me buy this one. It's a STEAL at $4000. I told her I'd have it on the road in time to travel to Portland. Think of all the hotel money we'd save!:P
