JV Puleo
I was sent this by a very nice lady I met after giving a talk at our local historical society today... the picture taken in about 1932 though the car looks late 20s to me. I can't place the long horizontal louvers and have no idea what it is.
Steve Braverman
I think it's a Roosevelt. 1929-30. Made by Marmon.
keiser31
That is what it looks like to me, too.
JV Puleo
Thanks guys... I knew someone here would nail it right away. I did a talk on the "The automobile, the first 10 years"... i.e. 1900-1910 and had to confess to the crowd that I was woefully ignorant of more obscure American cars of the 20s and 30s, so you've redeemed my reputation. The other "what is it questions" were easy, mostly Model Ts. I did tell her that the answer came from the AACA forum... all I did was ask the question.Joe Puleo
