ROUSHGT Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Does anyone know where I can get a quality roof rubber insert for my 1935 Terraplane 5W Coupe Special that will fit in the roof channel. Web site or contact info is much appreciated!ThanksDoug
Jon37 Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 If you are looking for the rubber extrusion that goes around the roof insert, try Paul Fjelland; Box 378, Slater, IA 50244, tel. (515) 685-3172. This item and many others appear in my on-line list of reproduction items for Hudsons, Essexes and Terraplanes that are currently being made by various people. http://www.detailedconcepts.net/Repro_Table.pdf

Jon37 Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 I don't own a '35 so can't comment on that. You might want to post this question over at the forum used by Hudson enthusiasts, someone might be able to tell you. Hudson Discussions on Classic Car Forum
StillOutThere Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 K-GAP made an EXACT duplicate of that rubber during the years I was a partner in the company. Today K-GAP seems to be in great disarray under new ownership but it would seem worthwhile to attempt to find out if they have any inventory of it. I had to have it made when I restored a '35 Terraplane G coupe.
