Guest hankthebigdog
I am looking to replace the hubs and brakes on my 32 dictator. Can anyone help me out as to what will exchange or must I replace the entire axle? Any help would be appreciated.
r1lark
What do you want to replace them with? Original parts, or something more modern? Are you wanting more modern drum brakes, or disc brakes? What kind of wheels do you want to use?You may want to post this on the AACA Studebaker forum also.
Guest hankthebigdog
I am wanting to upgrade to be more modern with disk brakes, new model wheels. this will be a daily driver and will be used as such. It is getting a complete rebuild /implant . I am just using the body and frame as a stude. I do have the straight 8 motor, trans, and rearend if anyone is interested. [i know nothing about these, but am sure they are usable to a stude collector/hobbyist] thanks for the help in advance. 60ch
While I am sure that there are members of this forum that have built modified chassis cars, you would be better off at one of the "hot rod specific" websites for the information that you want. You are limited by your mechanical ability and your wallet only. Please be sure to post your take off items for sale here.
