Guest Richard D
I found the same bolt in my car behind the drivers seat. I was trying to find out why the recline function on my 16 way is locked up. I am pretty sure it is part of the seat mechanism. It looks like you (and I) will have to remove the seat to replace it, and I will use some locktite. It would be hard to find a replacement bolt because it is so short, I put mine in the ashtray until I can pull the seat.RegardsRichard. DAVES89
I agree with Richard. It looks like a bolt from the seat.

Guest Richard D
Please let us (me) know where it goes. I think it fits on the right side of the seat next to the console, since there is no room between the seat and console out comes the seat.Richard. Jim
It is one of the bolts that holds the drive motor to the brackets. You will have to remove the seat from the car to put it back in
jonlabree
For anybody else that has found the bolt under their seat, This is where it goes. You must remove the side covers and the seat to get too it and hope that it wasn;t the oneThat I had to reinstall, as that one is the most difficult one. There are four of them. Two on each rear corner of the seat. The one that came out for me was tthe one in the middle picture, It was Fun to get back in.
Guest Richard D
Well that probably explains why when I try to recline the seat back the motor moves back and forth about 45 degrees.
