mribbich@wi.rr.com Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 This is a Remy coil most likely from the 1920's, has the words on top REMY, Timer and Bat. Thanks for any help!!!!!!!!! 1-282-392-2989 or mribbich@wi.rr.com Marv.
Layden B Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 If you could look closely and find 3 digits - one letter, that would be most helpful.
mribbich@wi.rr.com Posted January 21, 2013 Author Posted January 21, 2013 Looked it over again and could not find any other numbers or letters on it. Thanks!!! Marv.

Guest Al Brass Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 I believe Remy became Delco Remy in 1925/26 so is earlier than a more likely early to mid 20's. Al
nzcarnerd Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 It would seem from reading the company histories here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remy_International - and - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delco_Electronics - that, as with many companies, their history is quite complicated. I don't know when Delco-Remy brand electrical parts first appeared on cars but I do know that my 1926 Pontiac has Remy electrics.
28 Chrysler Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 The 1926 / 27 Chrysler Model 60 also used this coil.My Model 62 has this style coil but mine has no name on it. ( mine could be aftermarket )
