Amphicar BUYER
This is the part of my job I love the most! I just bought 2 Mustangs that have been in Semi-trailers for a few years. Both in great shape. No photos to post yet. Got a large amount of NOS, used and repro parts to go with them. So at some point they will be up for adoption. I may keep the 66 for a while. The 64 needs to go where it can be loved and cared for.1964 1/4 ('65) Coupe "D" code, console, Turquoise white vinal top and interior, survivor (except it was re-painted by 2nd owner original turquoise color) All the correct "odd-ness" of a true mid-production, '64.5 car.1966 Ragtop. Triple black. console, pony interior. Some slight chemotharapy in the 1/4s and paint and it will be super nice.I'm picking up the '64.5 today, the 66 and parts tomorrow. The color in the pics are more blue that it really is. Ford calls it Pagoda Green. Originally sold in Denver, so she's a Colorado car all it's life. auburnseeker
Good find. Usually when I get the call the semi trailer has already been burnt, rolled and then what was left rusted away. "Hey remember" they always tell me, "it still has some good parts on it. " Like the nut that holds the air cleaner on or maybe that lens, it's only a little broke. Guest Foggy norm
Hey John, what can you do to the '66' to make it "confused".
Amphicar BUYER
Hey John, what can you do to the '66' to make it "confused".Good question, right now it doesn't know if she's black or maroon! Once I'm done, that confusion will be gone. But it is still a "she" so there will always be some confusion that can't be explained to mortals.
