jonlabree
Question about the rear sprng" It appears that the rear spring ends just rest on the control arm with no aparent perminent attachment. Is this correct? The shock must prevent the spring from coming out when it is at it's farest travel if that is correct.
Barney Eaton
Look closer and you will find the flat spring is clamped near the top on both sides. The outer ends just rest there as they must move within an arc as the spring is compressed.
jonlabree
Yes, I see the clamps on both sides, but I was speaking of the ENDS. They are just floating on the control arms. Correct?

jonlabree
Barney; One more bit of info I need.Is there pressure on the control arm from the end of the spring pressing down and butting up against it?
