sean1997 Posted January 14, 2013 Share Posted January 14, 2013 (edited) You need to provide some more information about the engine, as the serial number itself is somewhat vague.If we assume 1941 and earlier:6 = Series 60 (Century)3066115 = sequential number unique to engine, range for 1936 is 3,001,000 to 3,166,224This makes the engine a 320.If we assume 1942 and later:6306611 = sequential number unique to engine, range for 1951 is 6,240,100 to 6,646,2295 = Series 50 (Super)This makes the engine a 263.The 320 is about 6 inches longer than the 263, so we need some more information (like valve cover length) or pictures.
