Guest 22Coupe Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Could someone tell me what the correct bulb for the tail light would be for a 1922 Buick Coupe? The bulb is missing. Or what the modern equivalent is?Thank you
Grandpa Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Check the bulb base design in the tail light housing and the number of bulb contacts. A car of that age will likely have a single contact bulb for the tail light function only. Tail light bulbs are usually about 5 Watts; stop light bulbs are usually about 16 Watts. The Wattage would be the same for 6 Volt or 12 Volt bulbs. If your car is stock, it has a 6 Volt system. Check the following site for a match of the base design and Wattage -donsbulbs MAIN PAGE - rare specialty bulbs projector lampsGrandpa
unimogjohn Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 On the 23 McLaughlin Buick, it is #63. And of course, 6v.
