Hi-Try Restoration Specialties in Windber PA. See their website and get their catalog for lots of useful hardware. If they don't have original style molding clips they can probably provide a universal clip for your stainless moldings.

Bacically, yes. You will need maybe 3-4 different sizes to accomadate differing widths of the trim. Restoration specialties has thier catalog on line. If I remember it takes about 50 total clips for a 55 Buick...........Bob

A similar diagram, showing each sweep spear moulding and its required fasteners for all models of postwar Buick, is included in the Parts Manual. It has the factory part numbers, of course, which don't match up with Restoration Specialties' numbers. However, their catalogue has full size illustrations of each clip, so you can match any samples you have. Their selection looks pretty good and they might be able to tell you what clips are needed for your car.

Catalog-PDF - moulding clips are on pages 131 to 133.

Hi the problem is that i don't have anything to look at.I had hoped that there was someone who knew what they looked like :). But I can measure the moulding and check their catalog.

That's all you need to do. Any size clip will adjust itself to a range of molding widths, that's why you only need a few sizes to cover the whole length of trim. As for amount needed just count the holes. It works for me..........Bob
