made a new set of running boards. Am considering using drip check sealer on the joints as it was recommended by some fellows who do corvetter/muscle car work.

What experince or comments can you provide for using it?

Would really appreciate any comments.

Thanks In advance

Drip check becomes hard after a time and is not good on flexible joints. Check with your paint supplier they have a more flexible black type in a chalking tube similar to silicone but not silicone and it is paintable. I can't think of the name right now but I have used it before and it works quite well.

i use np-1 or dynomic sold in regular caulk tube-i get mine at concrete supply store-they use it on new construction for exterior window- door caulk-when cured it stays pliable like rubber-is paintable-ive also used it as a glue for wood door panels-sealing cracks in firewall etc.its messy so have some laq.thinner handy.you can work it with your finger once you get area covered by sraying with soap and water solution.dont get any of this solution on area still needing to be caulked or it wont stick.hope that makes scence.t.nugent roa #12969...
