From the National Woodie Club Library. a 40 ford wagon, TOWING a 41 mercury wagon.. the Mercury was featured in a recent (2014) issue of the WOODIE TIMES the 40 seems to have been a well known southern California car.

I am hoping someone can shed light on the particulars of this "rescue"

I have been to Hershey every year since 1968 and I remember when the cars were in the stadium and the flea market was near it. The rubber boots are standard dress along with raincoats and umbrellas at Hershey. You can count on rain if it's Hershey!

Just curious, what were they asking for that pile of junk. I know that most of the small metal parts are very hard to find, but it looks like most are missing.

Looks like there is still some small amounts of metal parts amongst the rust. ;)
