Here is my '39 Packard which was sold earlier this year and shipped to Switzerland. The picture of the car having some service work done and in the garage are in Switzerland with the new owner, pictures courtesy of Tom Laferriere and Matthias, the car's new owner. Cool to see it has a good home. :)

And our current collector car, although not an AACA recognized antique for another year...

I think I posted the picture of the "special interest parking area" at Lime Rock Park once before on this site. Love the random interesting cars that show up in the parking lot at the LRP Vintage Fall Festival... :)

Hi!

Here are my two Reo Model Gs from 1926. One is 4D Sedan and the other is 2 tn truck. The passenger car I bought from a car museum in TX. The truck was originally imported to Finland and was used in a quarry to carry blocks of rock. The truck has been under restoration for quite many years - too many years. There is still quite a lot to work althought lot has been done. The passenger Reo is in running order and registered as museum vehicle. The first truck photo show the condition as found. The second truck photo show what the Reo looked when new here in Finland.

Joyfull oldcar year 2013 to you´ll

Your point has quite a lot of meritt. I would like to bring it back to original but as you know the cost most generallly out weighs the finished value. I don't understand how a nice Olds has less of a value than a very common Model A. Oldsmobile are a lot rarer car and were priced considerably higher.

My collection of projects include:

The '31 Dodge DG 8 Rumble Seat Coupe

The '61 Triumph TR3A (Currently awaiting it release from garage jail)

post-59683-143139320847_thumb.jpg

The '68 Dart GTS (It's probably still wondering why it's not complete after having all the body and paint done)

post-59683-143139320852_thumb.jpg

And finally the '69 Dodge A100 Sportman Van (This is the one that has been currently getting my attention for those that have followed my thread/posts in the Restoration forum)

They all have their place in the future. Scott...

My old Dart sure looks good, Scott......maybe I should get it back.

Sure, they say that most everything can be had for the right price. But as you also know what I invested in it and all the associated other parts I'm not quite ready yet to let it go for that kind of loss. Scott...

The TR-3 in jail reminds me so much of the MGA we had until a couple years ago.

We owned an Avis Rent A Car business in Indy, and put the MGA UN-RESTORED in the back room with a rack just like the one pictured here over it. When at the counter and the door to the back room was open you could see the nose peaking out from a blanket. So many customers would say, IS THAT A SMALL CAR BACK THERE? Then they would say, wow, must be a very small one, and we all would laugh.

What kind of BAIL do you need to post to get it out of jail?

I wish you well, our first daughter came home from the hospital in a 1960 White TR-3. Loved that car.

Here's my 48 Chevy Fleetmaster Town Sedan. She's a work in progress, but, a nice driver at this point.

Dale,

Not surprised that my storage idea is not original, I'm sure that a number of us come up with common ideas of how to utilize a fixed amount of space. I'm car rich and money poor as they say. I've had the TR3A for over 12 years now and have bought/collected a lot of parts for it, enough currently to redo the complete frame/suspension along with body parts (floors, inner/outer rockers, front fenders, rear spare tire door, etc.). I guess though if I truely had a to eliminate any cars in my collection the first to go would probably be the Dart and then the Van with the desire to hold on to the DG 8 and the TR3A. Again, that is my current thinking but who really knows what the future holds. Thanks for the brief story and well wishes. Scott...

Here's my wash and drive. The box on top is to direct people to my 5th grand daughter, Lucy's first birthday party last year. After three daughters and 5 grand daughters I'm announcing to the world the birth of Lucy's baby brother,Leo David Diventi yesterday. Here are mine. Story to follow on the black thing with side pipes:) OK the last 2 aren't classics and will probably get me thrown off the site but the Orange roadster is a historied dragster with original paint built from 56-58 and raced 58-62. I built the maroon one from remnants when I was in my early 20's. A good car wasn't hurt in the process. These are cars I still have. Now we need a bigger garage, I've run out of space. :D
