edhd58
Here she is guys, rescue from a crusher. It's 99% complete very straight and just a lot of surface rust. The interior is all there but of course everything is wore out. It runs and drives but smokes, with the 6 flathead. I just cant decide wheterh to restore or just clear coat over the metal as is and make a neat old daily driver. Any thoughts???????
Dave Mellor NJ
You absolutely should make this into a WWII military staff car. There are always people looking for 42 model four doors. Ford, Plymouth or Chevy. Usually they have to settle for a 41. Dull the chrome and spray everything olive drab, then look for a picture for the star and markings, make up a number, maybe get a uniform and have a ball. I'd love to have it. X-Frame
I would say restore it. Just the fact that it runs and is that complete is a BIG plus in your favor.

CarlLaFong
It boggles the mind to think in this day and age of eBay, American Pickers, Antiques Roadshow and the like, that there are still people, stupid enough, to crush a car like this. Any common nitwit knows, or at least has an inkling, that a 70 year old, complete, running car might be worth more than scrap value. Is there still a rock, large enough, in America that some people still live under?
