Ford Reluctantly brought out a 6 in 1941. It was known as the "G" series and still had the crab distributor in front of the engine. In 1947 they changed to the "H" series and it had a conventional distributor on the side of the engine, That is the head you have, in 52 they came out with an overhead 6, the 223 CI.

For the Ford SIX cyl Head, my sources list:

7HA 6050-C2 for 1948, 49, 50.

0HA 6050 50-51

1GA 6050 41-47

People don't generally associate a 6-cylinder flat-head with a Ford product, but the scan of the part number identifying the head says it all.
