Guest hiyudon Posted December 1, 2012 Share Posted December 1, 2012 I just changed the filter on my dodge for the first time yesterday. Upon removing the element I noticed a fitting that the element rested on. This sets a good seal to the cork gasket I suppose. My question, is there supposed to be one of these on top also? I'm thinking there is or does the filter top put pressure on the cork gasket.
