Odd Looking Console in 64 Wildcat

Adam, that '65 Wildcat you linked to is quite unusual in that it has the bucket seats in the Deluxe trim level. More commonly, buckets were ordered in the top trim level -- the Wildcat Custom.

Short console installed backwards. Available for cars with column shifters when bucket seat option is checked off. The 64 on e-bay has standard interior as well. Note it even has a tilt column. More odd stuff normally seen on deluxe interior cars.

Are you saying that the console is installed in reverse from the factory that way, because of the bucket seat option on a standard interior?

That would be interesting. I like to know these things if I ever judge again.

No. I don't know who put it in backwards, probably not the factory.

the people at rawhides probably did that, the car is advertized as a 65 on ebay and its a 64 and i told them that, and they said they had a 65 title so its a 65, i have delt with them off and on for years and they never change, they know it all
