The one I read had a '53 on the cover.

So you guys are telling me that you CAN read a book by looking at the cover.  Different covers probably mean that the publisher went to a second and third printing.  Each printing putting a couple of million more bucks in Mr. King's bank account.  Ya'll need to take a look at the number of different covers on the same book that kids read for their literature classes. Reprints of reprints of reprints. Money, mo' money, mo' money.

No, ED.  Only if it has pictures of cars.  Preferably of Buicks.

  • 2 weeks later...

Pausing for a moment looking at the north bound shipping channel of the Detroit River at Amherstburg, Ontario.

The other side of those trees is the south bound channel which is the International boundary between Canada and the USA (Michigan).

I'm not sure but I may have posted this earlier.  It's in the men's room in the old Union Station in St. Louis.  I can tell you from experience that you get some strange looks when you pull out a camera in a restroom. 😳

I have a feeling that this may be a picture from the Buick assembly plant in St. Louis.

A friend of mine who lives in the metropolis of Canton, KS (population 748) just sent me a picture of his latest Buick toy.  1949 vintage 320 now with 356 cubic inches.  Runs nito-methane through 4 throttle bodies. 1964 Woddy Gilmore chassis.

I'd like to see and hear the video of this thing running from the line.  Any chance of that?
