Is the length of the hood of the car exaggerated in the illustration or is the size of the children minimized.  The hood looks longer than the height of both kids combined.

Any issues with copying this to my Buick file?

Assuming that is a Special the hood would be just over 4' long. (Says the man who makes the hood strips for 37/38's :-))

"...the promise of the future!"

Ironic, considering the state of GM 50 years later...

So which one of the two owns the Buick? That would have been an odd sight back in the day. Of course same can be said for what we see on the streets today.

If you are asking me, go for it. I found it on the inter-web.   Cal.

A few years ago I had a '66 GS 2 dr post.

I was told by someone that if you had a GS you automatically had a convertable frame that was stronger then the regular frame, just for this reason.

I am not sure if the emblem on the grill is a GS emblem or not.

Maybe one of the Skylark members can shed some light on this.

Cal.

PS: and yes mine was thirsty.

The GS was built on the convertible frame in those years.  That's still quite a twist as shown in this particular picture.  Looking at the front bumper though I doubt the driver cares that much if the doors work right, as long as they still work.

My 69 GS Conv is very solid but put it on a lift and it will bend enough that the interior lights come on.  Back on all 4 tires they go off.

No info on this one but to me it looks like it could be a Riviera Concept.tumblr_oh2qdoYx7T1qcdxvpo1_1280.jpg

Looks just like all the other "jelly beans" out there.  Why is Buick trending and going with the single horizontal grill Bar? I felt that their waterfall grills set them apart.
