Guest Stonefish
I've been scanning some family slides...and being that my Grandparent's lived on West Derry Road (about where the Dry Gulch Railroad station is now) it didn't surprise me to come across some Fall Meet photos. I'll have to double check...I think the slides were dated 1957 (well before my time). Any of these cars still around?
1937hd45
I believe the yellow Lozier was owned by Ton Lester. The Franklin looks real nice, think it was once a cover car on Antique Automobile. Bob
Lozierman
Yes, the 1913 Lozier, yellow Meadowbrook, was owned by Tom Lester. It is now owned by Jerry Foley who lives in Jacksonville FL. It is a model 72, T head engine.
Guest Stonefish
That's pretty cool....I hope Mr. Foley or someone that knows him can get him the photo. Right click and save!
1937hd45
Did ir rain on the 1957 Hershey Meet? I thought all the "Brass Era" cars were inside the stadium on the football field. Bob
stock_steve
Cool shots, Ron! Though I do wish you had been able to photoshop-out those boring modern spectator cars in the background...
