motoringicons
This car has been SOLD 1/31/13Here is a rare and desirable 1939 Lincoln Zephyr V-12 Coupe. This is a super solid western vehicle that is believed to have about 60,000 original miles. The car is straight as can be with no evidence of damage or repair ever. The underneath of the car is just as straight as the top (very unusual for these) including the floor pans, trunk pans, etc. The fit of the body is excellent with even gaps and margins on the doors, rear deck lid and hood. The paint is older but extremely presentable as is the chrome and stainless. The interior is newer and in very good condition including the door panels, headliners, carpets, etc. The car runs and drives great. The original twelve cylinder engine starts easily, idles well and takes the car down the road effortlessly. The transmission shifts smoothly, the brakes and steering are excellent, etc. The car is equipped with the desirable two speed, Columbia rear end. The Zephyr coupes are the perhaps the most dramatic example of automotive art deco styling and rarely are available for sale-especially cars that have been well preserved and are as solid and straight as this example. Asking 69,500.00 and the car is located near Jefferson, WI. Please call 734-730-4274 or email motoringicons@hotmail.com to schedule a viewing or for more information. Thank you.
