George Buick Riviera
Some months ago, I saw one sold for around $400. Also new. I was personally bidding up to my limit at $150, and then I was thinking the end at $400 is sky high. But this one .....
bb1970
I'll bet the gut selling it is thrilled. It looks like he started it off at $25.
Guest Rob J
Yeah, thanks to me he is selling it. I had talked to him before he listed it. He had told me he was going to sell it to me direct for $500.00, then he got greedy, and listed it. Kinda pissed, but whatever.

Mr Riviera
If your chrome is good and the emblem is faded - check with Emblem Magic . They can reproduce it . They did my 61 emblem for 125.00 a few years ago .

1965rivgs
Cobravil, Your trunk lock emblem is from a `63 full size model...not the same as the `65 Riviera...but still very nice, way to go! Tom Mooney
cobravii
I'm pretty sure a 63 and 64 full size are the same. My car is an Electra :-)
Snake
I had purchased one a year ago, got it for $95 on ebay good condition for entire piece. The front cover from a lesaber will fit on the 65 riviera but not the base since it is curved angle and not flat
Patrick91914
I purchased two NOS emblems over 10 years ago for $200 each. I figured they'd be impossible to find by the time I was done with my car. It's such an important part of the restoration that sometimes folks just have to step up and pay the price. Nothing beats the look of those NOS trunk lock covers. I looked into reproducing the insert several years ago and it was several hundred dollars/unit to do it right. I'm still thinking about having it done, but not sure if it's feasible when you factor in the casting for the Tri-shield frame.
