Guest Visaliaal Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 I have two old screw on brass cadillac hubcaps. One says Cadillac Standard of the World and the other says Cadillac 8. The script is on a silver colored disc which appears to be pressed into the center of the brass cap. The ID of the threaded cap is 4 3/4 inches. How do I determine what year or model they came off of? I have had them since I was a kid, but recently in retirement I decided to clean them up and found that they were brass under all the crud on them.
Layden B Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Cadillac 8 is 1915-6. The other is later up thru 1920s. That diameter would be rear, fronts are 3 3/8 as I remember. They were originally nickel plated.
