Den41Buick
I am looking for a boot convertible cover for my 71-C. I have called Bob's and Hampton Coach. Only Hampton Coach has a boot for a 56-C. Does anyone know if this will work? I hate to spend $450 only to find out it will not fit. Does anyone know of another manufacturer? Thanks
Guest LarryB
I had my 56C cover made with the local shop who did my top. I have the original boot cover to follow as a template. It shrunk and is faded, but was a good template. I would be more than glad to take pictures/movie if you can find a local shop to make the cover. Dynaflash8
I have an original top boot with the 41-71C that I have for sale. My 39-46C is in an upholstery shop in Sarasota, FL, and I could have the guy duplicate my 41-71C top boot if the car doesn't sell first.....and, I'm not getting a lot of action. I'm going over there on Nov 19 to have new cables installed in my '69 Electra convertible and I could take the boot over there then for him to copy. I would have to have money and know the color of your interior before I could tell him to do the job. My car has a green interior (as well as a green exterior) and I've always heard the trim matches the interior. My original top boot is trimmed in green leatherette (now supplanted by vinyl of course). BCA #
