page2171
There has been a lot of discussion regarding this on the forum over the years. A search of the forum will bring up a lot of good information. I go back and forth on if I want to do the swap on my 62 Electra. On the one hand, the brakes on our cars really are pretty good if they are in good shape, but on the other hand many of us are just more comfortable with having discs on the front because it is what we are used to. If you check out Scarebird Classic Brakes LLC, this guy sells a bracket that bolts on to the spindle for mounting the caliper. With the bracket comes a parts list that you can take to your local parts store and get everything else you need. I am pretty sure your Wildcat uses the same bracket as my Electra, which means you would use mid-late 90's Chevy Silverado rotors, and calipers from a mid-70's Cadillac.
