rocketraider Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 My experience with Oldsmobile is that exterior and interior paint colors are not the same code. I'm not familiar with Buick shop books from that time, but other GM Divisions' manuals often include a paint chart with both exterior and interior paint formula numbers for the original paint suppliers. Back then Olds was using R-M and DuPont. I assume the others were too. You can also find this information in a factory body parts manual. Those will usually have a chart showing what color carpet, headliner and hard trim were used with different exterior colors. Visit autocolorlibrary.com and search for 1964 Buick. They will have a paint chip chart that should have the interior formula numbers on the back side. ACL usually has Ditzler charts, but PPG-Ditzler were as good as the rest of the paint makers, just not as much an OE supplier.
