Guest neil1964
Hi,I want to change the radio antenna on my 64 Cutlass. Manual says I have to remove windshield wipers and then grill to get old antenna wire out. My question is does anyone know how to remove the windshield wiper arm assembly? Thanks for your help.Neil
D Yaros
They make a special tool for to remove wiper arms. It slips under the knuckle, and then one pries up on it to get the housing off of the shaft. You should be able to find the tool at any auto parts store. Be careful, as it is easy to scratch that grille!

rocketraider
Keep in mind some arms have a retaining clip that has to be pivoted out of the way before the arm will come off the stub. If your wiper has it you'll be able to see it right at the base of the arm.A shop rag folded over a couple times will protect the paint on the grille.
