Guest
I recently purchased a beautiful 1953 Plymouth Cranbrook. In the back glass is a plate that reads..."National First Prize, Antique Automobile Club of America, 1994 Winner, 26D0623
Can someone help me with some details surrounding this? Where was this judging done. Who owned the car? Etc?
Thanks,
c.bandy@comcast.net
Tom Deering
If you go the the home page of the AACA web site, you will find the address of the club headquarters.
Headquarters has two publications that can be sold to members that will get you started. They are (1) "National AACA First Junior, Senior, Preservation
Grand National and Annual Trophy Award Winners
(2) Membership Roster.
The first book identifies the car as having won its First Junior award at Hershey in 1994 and names the then current owner. Now that you have the owners name, look up his address in the roster and you're on your way to tracking the history of your new car.
I assume AACA membership is required to obtain these printed materials. You will also find a membership link on the home page.
Good luck and enjoy your new treasure. Tom
