Reattatude
It would be nice if one could find a webpage regarding what exactly is going on, which day-time at the Nationals -- so far I havent been able to find any information unless you count this: 2013 BCA National Meetwhich says precious little about anything even like when the judging starts? When do the bus tours leave? This stuff should be in a thread or something. I havent been getting the Bugle so I dont have that either. Somebody know the details? dship
Click on the "Buick - General" title and then on the first sticky "2013 BCA National Meet, South Bend, Indiana". Mike and Nancy Book have listed some very comprehensive info on the 2013 meet. I'm sure more will come between Ocotober, 2012 and June, 2013. By the way, why haven't you been receiving a Buick Bugle? Reattatude
By the way, why haven't you been receiving a Buick Bugle?Because Im a reprobate that let my membership lapse. I wonder if they will take me back??
DAVES89
If you can "fog a mirror" they will take you back. They will even assist by pounding on your chest to help with the fogging... lol
jonlabree
Anything "Reatta" specific happening at the 2013 National?
Machiner 55
Your answer is a hell of a lot more funny when you know what the term "reprobate" means. So, for those of us (including me) who in the past five and a half decades never heard this term being used...rep·ro·bate/ˈreprəˌbāt/

Noun:

An unprincipled person (often used humorously or affectionately).

Adjective:

Unprincipled (often used as a humorous or affectionate reproach).

Synonyms:scoundrel - villain

There now... wasn't it worth getting up for today?John F. Barney Eaton
There will be a Reatta Rendezvous. Usually on Thursday, Reatta owners are invited to take a drive to an eating place. If possible, in route, they will stop at some attraction (not on the regular BCA tour schedule) In Charlotte, we drove to the Charlotte aviation museum where the US Airways plane is on display that landed in the Hudson River. Then on to a Southern Bar-B-Q place. plenty of space, good service and we did our thing. When finished we wer about 2 miles from the hotel.Tom Selander is in charge of South Bend and has already visited the site twice, there are some hints but the trip/attraction is always secondary to the Reatta owners getting together for a meal.I posted the hotel info over a month ago........the Hilton is full but the Inn of St Mary's is next door and they share the parking lot. Should you wait too long and the Inn becomes full, the next closest hotel is a couple of miles away. If you are going get a room now. You can always cancel if something comes up. Guest HessLakeGuy
To all-Barney is correct, I am working on the details for next years meet. The town of SB is not huge, seems to be good to get around in even during the busy times. After some of the cities we have in over the years been this should be a relief. We will have a nice ride for everyone to view the Indiana scenery and have a good meal.Should make for a nice afternoon. Hopefully all will enjoy themselves. Weather hopefully in the upper 70s or low 80s. Misc info: Set your GPS to South Bend, IN----exit 77 on the Indiana Toll Road. Both host hotels are next to the Toll Road off ramps.Another choice is the Microtel. It is very close to the two host hotels. There are a others that looked good, too. Check Tripadvisor for ones clove to the ND campus.Bob Evans restaurant close by. Lots of small stores, gas stations, auto parts stores.LKQ upull is kinda close. Studebaker Museum is really close and should be a must see for everybody. Tom
