scalptrader
This is an original hood ornament/radiator mascot market Atalanta. I believe it is for 1927-1929 Studebaker. It is in amazing original condition and has very nice chrome, almost show chrome. No visible pitting. This has been displayed in a private collection and has not been outside or in the elements in several decades. Happy to email additional pictures if needed. Asking $350 and Shipping shall be $10 to the lower 48.
Mark Huston
This cap was not used in 1929. The Atalanta was used from 1927 to mid-year 1928 when it was replaced by winged cap. The early 1927 Atalanta had a threaded base, not the quick release that you have.
