Headlights wont go down with new lamps

Hey there guys, I finally got my new HID headlights in I installed them and everything but for some odd reason my headlights wont go down when I have them in, but when I put my old normal Sylvania headlights in the always go down, Any help?

The 90s Reattas have the capability to determine that a headlight has burned out and relay the information to the driver by preventing the headlights from retracting.

Your HID lamp's power supply presents a high resistance load to the headlamp module so that it thinks there is a burned out bulb. Might consider installing relays powered by the module that in turn supply power to the HID power supply. That would keep the module happy and allow the headlights to retract, but you wouldn't have the warning if one of the HID lamps fail, although I would expect you would able to notice the loss of light output.
