1992 Buick Century Special Custom??

Hi all. I need your help in trying to figure this out. I bought a 92 Century last saturday and while going through the owner's manual and other documents from the florida dealer where it was originally sold, I came across a booklet that had handwritten on it "1992 Buick Century Special". I checked the info tag on the driver's door and the spare tire cover and they have "AH69" for the model number, which indicates a Custom. Yet on the rear quarter panel all it says is "Century". It doesnt make sense to me and I highly doubt it's a one off kinda thing. The car has pwr: steering, brakes, cruise, tilt, a/c, am/fm cassette, pwr windows, pwr locks and power seat backs. The engine is the 3300, tan interior and light canyon yellow exterior. If more info is needed I will see what I can find out from the tag. I am the third owner of this car and it has 106, 101 miles on it.

The best I can do is quote from a 1992 dealer brochure. There were 6 models. All the names started with "Century", so there was a Special Sedan, Custom Coupe, Custom Sedan, and Custom Wagon, then Limited Sedan and Limited Wagon.

All came with 2.5 engine with 3300 V6 being optional. My brochure is not the deluxe version so the details of what came on each level is not listed.

It does indicated the Special came with 185/75r14 blackwalls while the Custom and limited came with whitewalls.

The standard of the time was to have the series name on the back of the rear fender, I would guess the Special only said "Century"

The other models would have the Century name with either Custom or Limited below Century.
