How can this work?Sun machine only puts out about 8 volts at dist. lead.HEI needs at least 12 to fire off coil and plugsCan you just hook up to the pick up coil green and white leads to the Dura and if so,how?Have an HEI from a '76 Corvette in machine now to set up curveThanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Commodore Posted October 7, 2012 Share Posted October 7, 2012 Well, it looks like you can use a Ford Dura Spark control box to run electronic distributors. You need to supply 12 volts to run the distributor and the Dura Spark control box. See link to HAMB post. The link to ctci doesn't work, but ctci stands for Classic Thunderbird Club International.
