How I fixed my rotted a/c compressor muffler

Recommended Posts

Don't jinx me!! Seriously, enough of the regular readers convinced me that deleting it is common. If it fails, I'll bypass it but this was easier because it didn't have to mess with the fittings. No one seems to make the replacement, and Cold Air in Texas couldn't rebuild it so I didn't have a lot of choices. Not sure if I would have installed a used one- what do you think? Seems a used part like that is only a ticking time bomb.

Will keep all posted, and thanx Dale
