I need a transmission now, so is there any suggestions/tips anyone has to offer for getting a transmission from the yard? Also, what kind of car should I get it from? They all cost the same, and I might as well get the best one I can.<P>And one other thing, even though it's a little ways down the road considering the car won't shift out of 1st gear, How can I "Soup Up" this car? <P>-Preciate It. Guest Posted July 14, 2002 Share Posted July 14, 2002 That transmission is not a electronic 4L80E<BR>It is a ME9 Hydramatic with cable operated kickdown.
