OK here it goes, trying to replace the headlight switch on my TC. I was able to get the knob off (no small feat) but the gauge cover does not want to come off. I took out the 4 screws on the top out but the right side at the bottom isn't coming loose, it seems there is a screw I can't find. Any suggestions?

Thank You, I missed one of the friction connectors on the cover. I did however need to know the info you provided, for I am replacing the odometer gear as long as I have it open. THANKS!!!!! you sir are as helpful as TC TOY.

Thank You "Lkvr" for that helpful guide, it was of GREAT HELP! The whole job turned out to be a success, I now have lights that work (with no smoking from the switch) and an odometer that counts the miles even though they seem to increase now.

Thank You Again.

Rolf

Instructions to remove the dash can be found on the attached. The full instructions describe how to replace the odometer gear. The file is from the yahoo TC group

Thank you for sharing the file, it's extremely helpful and pretty much detailed.

Lkvr, that is the very best instructions I've seen on any part of our TC. Thanks for sharing. Does Mario clavijo have any other posted instructions?

Again, Thanks for the post.

I used the instructions to replace the odometer gears in my 89. I found the document on the Yahoo groups page for TC'c, "ChryslersTCbyMaserat" The yahoo web page is... Yahoo! Groups - Join or create groups, clubs, forums & communities You need to be a member of the group to read the files and pictures. To become a member you just need to ask.

Other files listed are a couple of parts lists, a couple of build sheets and other misc. Like this forum the best part is the messages posted asking questions and helping other owners.
