Guest Rolf B. Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 OK here it goes, trying to replace the headlight switch on my TC. I was able to get the knob off (no small feat) but the gauge cover does not want to come off. I took out the 4 screws on the top out but the right side at the bottom isn't coming loose, it seems there is a screw I can't find. Any suggestions?
Lkvr Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Instructions to remove the dash can be found on the attached. The full instructions describe how to replace the odometer gear. The file is from the yahoo TC groupReplacingTCOdometerGear.pdf
Guest Rolf B. Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Thank You, I missed one of the friction connectors on the cover. I did however need to know the info you provided, for I am replacing the odometer gear as long as I have it open. THANKS!!!!! you sir are as helpful as TC TOY.
Guest Rolf B. Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Thank You "Lkvr" for that helpful guide, it was of GREAT HELP! The whole job turned out to be a success, I now have lights that work (with no smoking from the switch) and an odometer that counts the miles even though they seem to increase now. Thank You Again.Rolf
