autonut
Restoring my engine. Can anyone tell me what the engine paint color was in year 1926. I believe they did paint the engines back then didn't they? For some reason I am thinking it was gray rather than the common green in the 60's etc.If anyone knows and where to purchase the paint I would surely appreciate it.Thanks/Lee
unimogjohn
Lee the block is green. The pan is semi-gloss black (I believe) as well as the valve cover, starter, generator. Water pump is green also. I have seen the black, gloss black also. I think it is your choice unless your intention is original. Bill Hirsch and Bob's Automobilia has the paint.
