1937-44 Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 (edited) Congratulations on your new car. I would suggest you try Jim for your first place to search for running board molding. Sorry I don't have an email or phone number handy. But you can try snail mail at: Buick Restoration Services P.0. Box 442 Perry, Michigan 48872 You might also think about joining the BCA and the 36-38 Club which is a division of the BCA. There is also a 37-38 yahoo group that is free to join. Welcome aboard. superbuick Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Luke, got mine form the above source ( Buick Restoration Services ) and they fit perfect. I paid 230.00 with shipping 5 years ago. At that time he didn't share his phone number and didn't do e-mail. So the mail was the only way to go. Maybe this way he could get work done in the shop and sell parts on the side. The service was good and parts were perfect. Good luck and make sure you join the BCA !Steve

Guest Luke J N Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Steve, This seems suspicous to me. A guy named James who just joined the same day writes me to contact him on his E-Mail.He writes that for $200.00 shipping included he has the moldings. I write back I'm new and need info i.e. NOS - Repro - material used.No responce I'm wondering if it was a potential rip-off scam ? Does this type of thing happen to the unsuspecting ? If I'm correct there should be an alert to the membership. If I'm paranoid I appologize.Luke
superbuick Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 It does sound like a scam. I think someone saw the information and prices, then sent you an e-mail fishing for $200. There is only one source I am aware or. But there is always the possibility of someone with a NOS set...... Good to be careful. Steve
