hddennis
I believe this is a 1917-18 Chandler N.O.S. Dash can anyone confirm or tell me what it fits?Howard Dennis
Guest BobD735
Hi Howard, You're correct about the date and manufacturer. I picked up a dash panel just like it. Mine has the Chandler oil pressure gauge. I removed the map light, to use in my '20 Chalmers.Dykes Auto and Gas Engine Encyclopedia (circa 1917/1918) has a drawing of that panel on page 500.Bob
hddennis
Thanks Bob, I saw the Dyke's drawing but couldn't figure out if it fit 1917, 1918 or both years use the same dash?Howard Dennis
Guest BobD735
Hi Howard,I'm guessing the instrument panel was probably used both years. A knowledgable Chandler person should be able to answer your question.Bob
Guest PIKESPEAKING
YOU CAN FIND PRETTY GOOD SHOTS OF A 1917 DASH ON GOOGLE IMAGES
hddennis
The trouble with the Google images is the first one is my actual dash and the second is similiar but has several differences such as fuses, speedometer and an opening mine doesn't have for a wheel or lever?Howard Dennis
