Guest curtmacd
Does anyone have a diagram of the positioning for the #1 Wire on the distributer cap for a 1930 212? Wires were off. Understand #1 piston should be up and rotor pointing at #1 wire position on cap. Just trying to see a diagram. Thanks
Hupp36
Hi Curtis I Just found my model S book. The wiring diagram is in bad shape. On the copy its hard to see the dist cap & wires. I could read it,so I made one by hand. It should tell you what you want to know. See Pic

Guest curtmacd
Well, after replacing the head and tune up components, I fired up the Hupp yesterday. It sounds very good! Nice and quiet, with good acceleration. Going to start and run her several times at idle before attempting to drive. Last time she was fired up was in 2006. Much better condition now with a solid head! I still need a 9-B ignition switch with key. My electrolock is in great shape.
