Guest Kurt Franz
Had the 90 out for a spin yesterday with the wife and noticed a odd sound coming from what sounded like behind the steering column when I would apply the brakes. It sounded kind of like a relay or something, but not certain. When I got home I popped the hood and had the wife apply the brakes a few times while I listened and put my hand on the accumulator. After one of the applications of the brake pad i thought I felt a slight feeling in the accumulator, but I could have been mistaken. However, the click sound stopped when applying the brake pedal.Just curious if anyone has experienced this? thx
NCReatta
Probably your brake light switch that turns on the lights when you depress the pedal. My convertible does the same thing sometimes. I expect I'll need to replace the switch soon as it may be showing signs of wear, but it still seems to work well.
